When you create an account we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive the profile information you authorize.

When you purchase credits we process payment through Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. Stripe may collect billing details in accordance with their own privacy policy.

We collect standard usage data such as pages visited, browser type, and device information through Google Analytics and Sentry (error tracking).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To process credit purchases and maintain your balance
• To generate and deliver research reports you request
• To send transactional emails (magic link sign-in)
• To monitor and improve service reliability

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics
• Sentry — error monitoring
• Google OAuth — social sign-in
• OpenAI — AI processing of research topics
• Serper — web search during research generation
• Firecrawl — page content extraction during research generation

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

4. Research Data

When you submit a research topic, it is sent to third-party AI services (OpenAI) and search APIs (Serper, Firecrawl) to generate your report. We do not use your research topics or results to train AI models. Your research data is stored in our database and associated with your account.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. Google Analytics sets its own cookies for usage analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data Retention

Your account data and research reports are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.

7. Data Security

We protect your data with HTTPS encryption in transit, secure database hosting, and hashed authentication tokens. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your research reports at any time

Brevvi is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the service. Your continued use of Brevvi after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
